Halloween @ Science Centre

BOO!
It's Halloween today, and I don't really care.
I don't wear costumes and go "Trick or treat!" at my neighbours' doors.
BUT, yesterday, I had quite a happening time at Science Centre Singapore, dressed up as a zombie scaring people.
This event is organised by Science Centre Singapore, and we participated as part of our canvassing for Hall FOC next year.
Do go and give yourself a scare tonight or tomorrow night at Science Centre Singapore.
(There's the Body Worlds exhibition going on too! I went for that some five thousand years ago and thought it was a really meaningful experience. Like, when else can you get to see hundreds of NAKED human ex-beings in front of your eyes man? And I remember that there are a few 'bodies' with tattoos embedded in their flesh although they didn't had skin on and one guy with 6 toes on both feet!)

Here are some pictures:

Tricia and her wolf-head
Me as Zombie
Other 'ghosts' in midst of preparation.

With fish tanks surrounding me. How disgusting la!
Tricia and I.
Puppet zombie and Me.
Overall it was quite a nice experiencing being a zombie and scaring people. The only tiring part is that I have to keep jumping and scaring people. Haha. But i felt more like a mascot than a ghost, cos' many of the visitors requested to take pictures with us after we scare them. Haha.

I'm feeling better now, I guess.
Haha. I'm not sure myself.
I feel fine one moment, and the next moment I feel my head so heavy, that its dropping off my neck.
Ya, probably it should just drop off now, so as to lighten my worries of not being able to complete 3 project assignments by next week (!!!).
I'm so dead man, and it's just the wrong time to fall sick.
Oh, and there's French test on Monday! CRAPstick and lobsters man!

Anyway, some random pictures to share (more so to remind myself that I'm such a freak who can never keep any tables neat).

This is exactly how my study table in my own room looks like. It also looks exactly like how the dining table in my house will look like whenever I go home during the weekends. HAHA. Some things just never change, huh?

~^_^~

And it's not just the table...
But also the bed. Hoho.
Nah, the bed looks messy now because I'm airing my clothes to cool.
Haha.
Ya, COOL.
That's cos' I went to dry them using the dryer la.
Clothes can never dry when the weather is so humid here.
AND, I realised that it rains here every Thursday! I don't know and won't care if it rains on any other day or not, but it sure rains every Thursday. WEIRD ah?

Work&Travel USA

I went for the Work & Travel USA job interview just now with Tricia and her friend, Dewi. Waited rather long there before we were finally interviewed by the US employers. It was more like a question and answer session rather than an interview. Everything seems nice and exciting. I'm hired :) but that's next year. In the meantime, I still have 3 assignments on hand which I have to worry about, a quiz next week, end of year exams, another semester of hell to get through before my work & travel comes.

p.s. Mythbusters rocks my life. It's so BOOMZ! I'm watching it now, and Jamie and Adam are just... the bombs. Haha.

Déjà Vu Shingz Bang Boomz

I was watching random RIS LOW videos on youtube, when I saw this video:

It's a footage of Miss Singapore World 2009 held in East Point Mall, a small and rustic shopping mall located in Simei.

Then I thought to myself, why does this place seem so familiar? Then I remembered...

Press here for my previous blog post

HAHA. So that means that RIS LOW is one of the losers participants up there with the curlers!
Really, what kind of organisers hold pageants inside a shopping mall? And it has to be East Point Mall. Haha. Gosh. This is so funny.

BOOMZ to the SHINGZ

This is so SHINGZ man.

Is it me? Or does everyone feel like tearing her mouth apart when she talks?

The Hokkien swear words were the most fluent words she said during the whole interview.

This is totally SHINGZed up.

Mystery Google

Nothing can be sillier than Mystery Google. Although I've heard about it a couple of weeks ago, I didn't try it out until yesterday when my brother asked me to try googling on it to get 'rubbish results'. And I did!

First, I started with a simple search of my own name, 'Edelyn'; and when I hit the enter key, I was brought to Liverpool's Official Web page. Then, I went back and searched for 'Mythbusters', I got 'Lexus IS on wikipedia' instead. Now, this isn't even Mystery we are talking about here, it's really just random re-links of previously searched urls to the next server, which means that two other dudes who used Google apparently were searching for 'Liverpool' and 'Lexus IS'.

So all in all, Mystery Google is really rubbish and does not ever show you the results you are looking for. Unless so coincidentally someone as random happens to be searching for the same random thing as you are searching for.

And of course, there are loads of bored fellas out there who are playing with mysterygoogle for fun. Like, when I tried to search for 'Singapore', google's page with 'hmdghm' opened. What the heck is 'hmdghm'?!? Some random shiat keyed in that for fun just to play with mysterygoogle and kaypo-ed about what others are searching on Google.

I searched 'Chicken Rice' and got results of 'Eggplant', then when I typed in 'BBQ', they prompted me that my 'search is too short'. I got 'dolphins' when searching for 'yahoo'. It seems that both 'Google Search' and 'I'm feeling lucky' have the same function. So there is really no need for two buttons. Maybe just one 'Screwed Results' button would be more than sufficient?

HAHA

However, it did provide me with some entertainment, until everything gets repetitive and boring after around, er, ten searches.

-----------------edit---------------------

Haha, I felt bored and searched 'Discovery Channel' on mysterygoogle again, and I got results for 'Stop wasting time and do your homework!' on a Google page! Someone actually searched for that! Or maybe it's my Mum who searched for that, as I just told her to play with it. HAHA.

Okay, maybe I should heed that piece of mystery advice and get down to work. Someone's watching! Haha.
