傻人有傻福 ^_^

Problem solved! Yay!

My 100th post dedicated with smile while I breathe a sigh of relief. ~Hoo~.

P.S. Mummy, please call home. I can't reach you.
P.S2. I need a new phone. My phone's Cancel button, as well as the End Call button is spoilt. (That means that I can't cancel any mistakes I type while sms-ing, nor can I end my phone calls.)

Shucks!!!

DRIVING.

Driving me nuts.
Really
Irritating.
Very
Irritating.
Not
Good.

I don't understand why I have to always kill my braincells over something so minuscule.
Why do I feel that driving is a waste of time and money?
I can't postpone or cancel my test, and the test costs me a hefty $152.
I'm not rich, not very free too.
I have other commitments like the upcoming uni orientation camps and all.
Why am I always getting myself into stupid mess that I can't clear?
Why am I spending my beautiful day today finding a way out of this nonsense?
I am not a very bright person, I can't multi-task well too.
So don't drown me with too many things I can't handle.
I need this to disappear now, before I go berserk.
Tell me that there's a way out soon.

And can the sky not give me this grey hue?
It's only Four, I want the Sun, so don't you pour.

ARGH! I need to chill.

Whew!

Something was wrong with my blog yesterday, it became invisible. I had to change the template all over again, waste time.

Michael-King-Of-Pop-Jackson dies.

It was just yesterday when Kenneth and I chatted about Michael Jackson, how his influences surpasses barriers of races and his music favoured by the world. This morning, a buzz from my handphone woke me up, it reads: 'Latest news- Michael Jackson died'.
For a second, I thought I was still dreaming, you mean that horribly-bleached-and-dangerously-disfigured singer is dead? Mum then told me to check the news, and indeed, baby-dangler MJ died of cardiac arrest this morning. WOW, that's BIG news. Bigger than the amount of H1N1 cases Singapore has now.

Although MJ did not have any positive influences towards human race in recent years(besides teaching people not to hang their babies over the balcony, not to play with little boys, and not to go bankrupt and lose Neverland), the music he has left with us will go a long way. I personally like 'Heal The World' a lot, never could have imagined a crazy guy like MJ can produce such a beautiful song. It's like getting Britney Spears to sing Christmas carols, they don't link right?

Jacko is crazy, and that's a known fact, but people still respect him. His death seems surreal, like how his life seemed surreal to us too. He was a walking legend, and will remain as one forever.

News of MJ's death overshadowed another loss of Hollywood. Charlie's Angel's Farrah Fawcet died after losing her battle with cancer. That's how vulnerable life is, one day you're on the world's most glamorous stage, and the next, you're halted as one of history's most 'iconic icon (-.-)' and buried into the earth. This is what happens when great people dies.

Perhaps MJ suffered a heart attack knowing that his prettiest Charlie's Angel died. Who knows? More will when they find out that the tickets for MJ's upcoming concerts are non-refundable. Okay, that's just a joke. *Slaps myself for being rude*

Rest in peace, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcet. I feel nothing much actually, but I guess people in their forties to sixties now are having a hard time coming to the fact that their idols had passed away.

Daddy's Day.

You know, sometimes you may encounter so many weird things in life, you don’t know if you should laugh or cry.
It’s like knowing that your share the same Chinese name with a leading brand of condoms/contraceptives in China, you’ll want to laugh so hard, yet you’ll want to die.
(Google my Chinese name 安婷. Don’t laugh too much though, please leave me some dignity.)

Dad mentioned that he likes Charlene Choi a few days ago, I didn’t ask him why, he is always so nonsensical.
Only my Mum can stand him, and vice versa.
Then yesterday, after Father’s Day lunch at Baba King, we went to Tampines 1 to shop.
And guess what? Charlene Choi was there.
That has to be the most awesome Father’s Day gift from sky.
When Dad told me that Ah Sa is in Tampines 1, I said “Yah riiight.” Dad replied me “Really.”
True enough, she’s there.
How lucky can my Dad get?
It’s like seeing a dream lover can?
Not that he got to see her face to face and talk to her, but he still got to see a glimpse of her!
I went to Taiwan for eight whole days and didn’t even get to see my Aaron.
What’s even more pissing off is that the very day we left Taiwan, some students saw Aaron on the streets of Taipei.
Those very lucky students took photos with him and posted them up on their blogs to show off to everyone, argh.
That instantly sank my heart down all the way to Earth’s core.
How can life be so unfair?
It’s really those little things in life that are so unpredictable and yet so memorable.
Dad saw his idol on Daddy’s Day, and Edelyn found out she shares the same name as a condom company on the very same day too.
SIAN.

Here are the pics.

Lunch at Singapore Expo, Baba King. Peranakan food. The restaurant was full-housed, must be the side-effects of Little Nyonya.

The food served was not bad though... Spicy and salty. Haha. I don't know why, but peranakan food always give me the impression that they are sweet.

Aiya, forgot to take picture of the very delicious Black Glutinous dessert.
Okay, Charlene Choi, one half of Cantopop Girl-group, Twins.
I'm just wondering where's the other shameless half?
That one in white tee and denim shorts.
We looked down from upstairs, it was too crowded.
Okay, that's all. I'm going to sleep, it's so so late already, and I have driving lesson tomorrow. I don't want to cause another traffic jam by hogging the road. Goodnight :)

Okay... What's going on?

This is just so mysterious.
Someone called my mum.
But she didn't pick it up.
Who dares to pick up anyway?
When the number is 12345678...
That happened when we were in Taiwan.
Freaky...

...

Another funny thing.
Look at the building below.
Do you notice anything weird?
Okay, zoom it...

Noticed? The building has picture canvas over it!
Apparently, this building (NTU Hospital in Taipei) is under some sort of construction.
So they had it covered up with giant pieces of canvas with the original look of it.
How innovative.
They think that the patients and visitors cannot recognise the hospital when it's under construction la...
Haha.
Below is a picture of the original hospital.

I am so frustrated with Facebook. Uploading of pictures take forever.
Then, when it seems as though the uploading is finishing, a message pop up and says "Sorry, upload failed".
Seow liao la.

I self-proclaim myself the worst driver on the road.

I had driving lesson in the morning today, my last lesson was more than a month ago.
I practically forgotten how to drive, and today's lesson was Lane Changing.
Very funny. It's the most difficult aspect of driving, and you have one lousy driver here. Funny ah.
I was scared till the max can! Brake pedal and accelerator pedal also mixed up! Damn jialat la. Nothing can be more terrifying than the part when I had to change lane with this 3 tonner near me. That giant vehicle looks as though he will ram me down flat any moment.
Ugly moments of hysteria, all witnessed by my instructor. Haha, thank god the instructor was nice and funny, or else I think I could have gotten a mental breakdown in the car along some ulu road in Tampines.

-----------------------------------------------

Anyway, I wanna SHOW OFF the CDs I bought in Taiwan. haha.

1. 《原谅我就是这样的女生》 戴佩妮
2.《把心拉近(Single)》 吴克群
3.《Waterman同名专辑》 Waterman
So happy! I don't think I can buy Kenji Wu's single in Singapore.. Waterman's album is very interesting too! This faceless man advocates drinking more water and saving the Earth. Aw, so nice...

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

And then, I have something here which I am desperately trying to get rid of. We got this poster in Taiwan, when we bought some cosmetics from this shop called Nature Republic. The poster boy is Korean 'Heart Throb', so to call, Rain.

It's double-sided. Has a printed autograph. And is he is half-nude!

Now, the poster sits in my room, on top of my stereo looking very very out of place. Someone, anyone, whoever who wants to buy this poster just tag on my tag board.

===================================

AND, Wanling, I succeeded! Haha.

Cute eh? Do until my hand pain la. Haha.

Breathes the fresh air of Singapore.

I'm back, disappointed too.

You mean 8 days just passed like that? That's so not enough. I want more. I want to go back. I've not even finish walking my 西门町!

Actually, things aren't very cheap there, I would say that they are on par with Singapore, just that they carry way much more brands that you will never find in Singapore.

Anyway, my family would always take neo-prints whenever we are overseas. So we went to take neo-prints at a 3-stories tall neo-print shop to have the pictures done. Cost NT$200, which is around S$10.

Last day in Taiwan, we ate Jap food again. Haha, we always eat Jap food when we are overseas, this just proves that Singapore's Jap food cannot make it.

At Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, boarding the plane soon.

The plane was supposed to take off at 7.10pm, but some funny people forgotten their passports or something, so the plane had to look for their luggage. The flight was delayed around half and hour! Waste time. Reached home around midnight, super tired! Had to read the NTU enrolment package too. Oh man, and I have driving tomorrow! Why am I so busy?!? I wanna rest~~~.

Oh man, why is Blogger so lag? I'm gonna upload my pictures onto Facebook instead.

More pics of Taiwan!

Taipei has been raining these few days, dampened my spirits to the max. Stayed indoors most of the time, and hanging out at the bookstores forever...

This is the Taipei Arena 台北小巨蛋
Bazhang.

Their 乐透, our 4D TOTO equivalent.
Starbucks.
In Starbucks.
Eating 阿宗面线, very delicious. Had to stand up to eat because the stall has no tables nor seats.
No chopsticks too.
Many people waited outside the stall to wait for it to start business.
Lebron James & Kobe Bryant.
After eating the mee sua...
we continued with more eating!
鸭肉扁.
We were all very full already.. But the food is really very nice, so we stuffed ourselves to the max. haha.
My parents at 中正纪念堂.
My uncle.
My sis and I.
It was super glaring. Weather was never perfect, it was either too wet or too hot.
Nice.
The sign reads no slippers in the memorial hall...
and we were wearing...
but of course, we didn't care and went ahead. haha.

Inside the hall. Statue of Mr. Chiang Kai Shiek.
A very cool calligraphy.
The wooden thingy at the back is supposedly carved out from one trunk of a tree.
My bro, the busy photographer. He will die uploading all he shot when he comes back to Singapore.
HAHA.
On the streets of 西门町.
This is no beer. It's iced tea with butter on top. Really very shiok. Go to 西门町's 诚品书店 must order this!!!
Modern Toilet Restaurant.
I want this toilet bowl!!!!!! It's super glam! It's a chair in the restaurant!
The set meal.
Green tea in a urinal-shaped cup.
Ice-cream in squatting toilet.
HAHA!!!
K bye for now, I going to sleep already. Ciao.
