Greatest Sinner.

I'm a sinner. I do bad things. I do terrible, terrible things.
I do things so bad that the leaders of this earth will want to hunt me down and kill me before my acts of sins do anymore damage.

YES, I KILL TREES.

My new rim of papers just depleted by half, all from printing out the readings I have to read for my modules. I hate to have to print readings; it's somewhat around hundreds of pieces of papers we're dealing with weekly.
That's some massive amounts of forests!

I used to read the readings off my computer screen previously, but it's doing too much harm to my eyeballs. My eyes become Sahara-dry after being fixed onto the screen or too long.

So, I had to make that cruel decision between health and environment. And of course, being an environmentalist, I opted to save my own eyes.

Sorry, but selfish as it sounds, I had no choice. I have to save my pair of eyes from pre-mature destruction so as to accomplish more in the future, such as planting a tree. Planting trees may seem like little efforts to save this huge dying earth, but it helps, because I’m not only cleaning up the air with the trees through photosynthesis, I’m also repaying my debts to the environment for killing their trees in the first place.
Imagine if I hadn’t opted to save my eyes, I would have to study using Braille! And to complete a normal reading might take me days instead of hours! Not to mention that my fingers may get blisters or even blunt out from sliding on the Braille dots. That’s really one health hazard after another!

Things never get to work out in a win-win situation. Here, it will only be lose-lose.
Because of my decision to sacrifice trees or my eyeballs, I’m also risking the idea of graduating penniless.
Printer ink is so expensive that it should really be found in pawnshops instead.
My wallet is thinning (like the ozone layer) and the hole in my pocket is expanding (like the ozone hole) too. Printing of notes and readings is just a vicious cycle that continues till the day education is deemed unnecessary.

In between now till then, I shall scrimp and save, and pray that my evil acts of ecological destruction will go unnoticed.

Dinner @ Vivo

Old friends meet up without a reason.
And that's what I like about it.
We gather together, talk nonsense while we eat,
cam-whore like never before while the food digests within.

Dinner was at Serenity in Vivo-city, this Spanish restaurant/pub place.

NX and Ber.

Fel, Chew and me.

It has been the LOOOOOOONGEST time since I last saw Felicia!
Some BIG lantern behind us.

Ber and I were both in stripes!

Smile!

HAHA. Agnes, some awesome facial expression you've got there!

We took a gadzilllion shots of this scene here.

So old still playing with slides at the playground. HAHA.

Acting young.

Bahaving young.

Hey kids, it's getting late! Don't spend too much time at the playground! HAHA.

Fun! I wanna go out and play again!

I must work hard!

I've been rather down these few days, too much in my mind.
The first week of school hasn't been very exciting nor fun, rather, it's more like a continuation of 2009, sucky.
Modules I'm taking this semester are all heavy-loads; I'm not even sure if I'm strong enough to lug them till May where holidays come again.
But one thing is for sure, I will work hard this semester (pray that I stick to my words). Why? Because I want to pull up that yucky GPA of mine.
I went to the INSTEP talk a few days ago, and I think that being able to go on an exchange programme would be so awfully cool! But to qualify, students must get GPA of >3.6.
As sad as it sounds, the course I'm taking has no internships or attachments, so in order to escape from this hell-ish environment called 'school', I want to go for an exchange programme.
Sounds feasible? Totally. Chances of it coming true? Slim. Chances of it coming true if Edelyn starts to work hard? A bit higher. Chances of it coming true if Edelyn continues to waste time checking out the world on her itouch? Zero.
So yeah, I shall heed my own advice and turn in to bed. Goodnight.

Why are holidays so short?

TRICIA TO, I’m updating my blog now, happy?

Okay, even I myself am wondering what I’ve been up to recently, leading to the lack of updates. Well, I’ve been out on sprees emptying my wallet and being a glut eating my life away. Hehheh.

Well, I went back to school a couple of times for ISG matches and hall stuff. Yea, stuff. School is a dreadful dreadful place, why are holidays never enough? WHY?!?!

Oh, back to the topic of spending money. I bought Yoga Lin’s concert tickets! It came with the 改版 CD+DVD. I was in Tampines CD-RAMA with Tricia, looking for Fahrenheit’s Concert DVD when Tricia stumbled upon Yoga’s CD. It had a price tag on it stating $38.95. So, that means that the CD+DVD cost only $0.95 because the concert ticket costs $38! WAAA! This is so unbelievable la! I was so skeptical about it, I went to ask the Popular CD-RAMA person to confirm, and after that I went to call Yoga’s management company to double confirm. So kiasu, right? But it is too good a deal to be possible. But, yes, it’s really only selling for $38.95 in CD-RAMA- the CD+DVD Edition of Yoga’s album plus a mini concert ticket! Wahoo~ Tricia managed to psycho two other friends to buy the CD too, so we are all going for the concert on the 4th Feb! Yayness. And that also made me poorer by $38.95 instantly.

The newer edition of Yoga's album.

The ticket :)

Then, the next day, I went to submit some documents for W&T USA. So exciting! Can’t wait for 6th May to come soon, come NOW if possible! HAHA. Then, Tricia and I went to Bras Basah’s Popular to look for Fahrenheit’s DVD and also her Leo Ku’s Concert DVD which she didn’t manage to buy previously. AND we found them! HAHAHA! So happy la! And happiness came with a price- $24.95. But I don’t care! I want it and I must have it! Haha.

WAHOO~~~

I met up with Berlyn and Nanxin too, went to Laselle for dinner and also ate Selegie’s bean curd. Laselle looks nice and pretty, too atas-looking to be a campus, actually. We ate at a café called Fifteen Minutes. Food served there was good and rather affordable! The three of us toured around the campus, played accidental hide-and-seek with a security guard (HAHA, it was super funny and malu-ish), and cam-whored like we’ve never seen a camera before. Haha. Then we saw a group of students eating bean curd, and we started craving for bean curd too. So Ber and NX suggested we should go eat Selegie’s bean curd. Call me a suaku, but I’ve really never eaten Selegie’s bean curd before. It’s not too bad, a little too sweet, but the you tiao was awesome.

Acting retarded.

Posing with the walls in the campus

In the toilet. MALE.

Fish Tank~

Berlyn, Edelyn, Lynlyn

Cam-whored a million times with the wall behind us.

At Selegie eating taohui.
But of course, all good things will eventually come to an end. HAIZ. Let me sigh till tomorrow!!! I’m in hostel now, school reopens tomorrow. WHY?! Why are holidays always gone in a flash? Please, please let this new semester be good, and fast too, so that I can pack and leave for the US sooner! HAHA.

Stitch ♥

My sissy and I have become ardent fans of Stitch. Nevermind that Disney has gotten new humans to accompany experiment 626, we're still very much in love with the blue thing. Stitch even has its own series on Disney channel now! Like, wahoo-ly cool! Where's Lilo? Probably somewhere in Hawaii, but now, Stitch has Yuna, a girl who looks like some Japanese anime character.

Here's Stitch with Yuna.

Here's Stitch with Lilo

I suspect my mother is in love with Stitch too; she buys us Stitch merchandise without asking if we want them. HAHA.

Slippers and Coin pouch.

Hoohoo. Now I find another nonsense to waste my money on. Haha.

2010.

Oooooooooo.
Happy New Year!
It's 2010 already, I'm going 20 soon.
Anyway, tell you all a little secret, I didn't bathe on the last day of 2009.
Haha. Okay, going to bathe now.
